Felix Roche

Coach Felix has been a head coach with the NY Gothams travel team since 2004. For the last 19 years, Coach Felix has coached every age group from 13u to 18u and has guided hundreds of Gothams players into high school, college, and professional baseball. 


In addition to coaching with the Gothams, Coach Felix spent several years coaching baseball at Trinity High School in New York City. In 2008, Coach Felix became Head Coach of the Varsity team, where he was the skipper for the next eleven years, posting a 12-8 (.600) Ivy League record in his final year at Trinity High School in 2018 on his way to reaching the state quarterfinals. He also has nine years of experience coaching at the collegiate level, including stints at the Globe Institute of Technology and ASA college.  


Coach Felix was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to the United States at the age of 16. In 1996, Coach Felix was selected to play for the Dominican Republic Junior National team and won the batting title, hitting .348. He lives in the Bronx, NY with his family.

Vito Altamura

Coach Vito has focused on training and player development for over 15 years. He played Division 1 baseball and has worked with hundreds of players and coached teams across all age groups ranging from 12 to 18. 


Vito’s experience and innovative style has allowed him to lead players to their full potential. In addition to teaching the fundamentals and mechanics of the game, his specifically focuses on hitting technique, catcher training, and arm development -  as well as strength and conditioning training. 


Vito is the current Co Founder of the Dynamic Baseball Training Center which has two locations in downtown Manhattan. Most recently, Vito has been working with Perfect Game operating showcase events, as well as coaching national teams all over the country in high profile tournaments. Many of his students have went on to play college baseball and some professional.

Winter

Coach Louis Winter is a highly respected baseball performance specialist with expertise in speed, strength and conditioning, power, and explosiveness. As the founder of UWinPro and co-founder of Dynamic Baseball Training, he has dedicated his career to developing athletes to reach their highest potential both on and off the field.


A former college baseball player, Coach Winter has spent over nine years coaching travel baseball, working with players of all levels to elevate their game. His deep understanding of hitting mechanics, combined with his strength and conditioning knowledge, allows him to create tailored training programs that improve performance, confidence, and consistency at the plate.


Passionate about player development, Coach Winter’s approach blends professional level techniques with personalized mentorship, helping athletes refine their skills, build physical power, and enhance mental toughness. His commitment to excellence has made him a sought after hitting coach and performance trainer in the baseball community.

Gabriel Diaz

Gabriel Diaz has been a cornerstone of the NY Travel Baseball since 2009, developing players across multiple age groups from 13U to 18U. Over his tenure, he has guided hundreds of athletes to successful high school, college, and professional baseball careers. Known for his leadership, player development expertise, and strong rapport with his teams, Coach Diaz remains one of the most respected and well-liked figures in the program.

In 2025, he led the 13U Marucci Prospects to a 38–19 (.667) record, competing in 13 tournaments, reaching seven championship games, and winning the Diamond Nation in Flemington,nj. The team also made a few championship appearances that season. In 2025 Diaz took the helm of the Marucci 13U squad.

A standout player himself, Diaz graduated from George Washington High School in 2005, earning MVP honors in the prestigious George Washington High School Tournament and leading his team to the PSAL City Championship game at Shea Stadium. He went on to play at Brookdale College in Lincroft, NJ, helping the team advance to the 2008 NJCAA World Series, and later completed his collegiate career at Globe Institute of Technology in NYC.

Beyond the Marucci Prospects, Diaz has served as assistant baseball coach at ASA College in Brooklyn, NY, from 2014.-2020 Under his guidance, ASA won the NJCAA Region XV Championship (2014) and reached the NJCAA Eastern District finals (2018), finishing one game shy of a World Series berth. Today he is co-founder of DBT baseball training facility located on 156 chambers. Diaz is also the head JV baseball coach at Columbia Prep school located 4W 93rd street in NYC.
